Fallsburg Fishing & Boating Club
THE 2026 SCHEDULE IS HERE!
The 2026 season has been a great one, but we always need our members to help -
please consider volunteering at one or more events.
(Kindly note that all dates are subject to change.)
The year began with a WINTER FEST - HELD ON SATURDAY FEB. 14th, 2026
Ken Lang once again hosted the annual off-season Ice Party at his cabin Lot #19 on Saturday, Feb. 14th for great time with frineds in the snow and on the ice. The warm campfire and great beverages complemented the outstanding entries in the 2026 Pleasure Lake Chili contest.
A trophy was presented for Best Chili on Pleasure Lake 2026 - congratulations Doug Keating (your years of practice and fine-tuning of your recipe paid off!).
Then, on Sunday, Feb. 15th, a great group of Pleasure Lake folks enjoyed some winter fun at the reinvigorated and growing Holiday Mountain resort for skiing, snowboarding & fun together.
This summer is here and is already proving to be another great one. We want to thank all who plan and help run our events so we can all enjoy getting together around Pleasure Lake!

9 a.m.: Annual Work Party and Earth Day Lake Clean Up was held on Saturday morning of Memorial Day Weekend. Thanks to all who continue to join our work crews as well as those who take on jobs individually if they are unable to join us due to conflicts. WE NEED EVERYONE TO PITCH IN AND EACH MEMBER IS EXPECTED TO DO THEIR PART TO HELP OUR MEMBERSHIP!
7:30 a.m. - Prior to our work, the Smith family graciously offered to host coffee and breakfast to all who came out to work for a pre-work Breakfast Gathering at "Trail's End" (Lot 1 at the end of the West Shore Road - right next to our new property along Decker's Cove!)-
12 noon - When work concluded, we joined at noon for a post-work party BBQ at the Clubhouse.

2:30 p.m. - 2nd Annual Pleasure Lake PIG ROAST was another great success with terrific food, drinks, LIVE music from talented local artist Jon Zanger and lots of fun with friends. Thanks to Doug Keating and our great chef Ramon Colon and all of their team for a great event! $45 per person included all food, drink (adult and soft drinks), music and fun!

The Pleasure Lake Kids' Ice Cream Social was held at the Clubhouse for all our Pleasure Lake Kids (young & old are welcome). Lots of free ice cream, music, dancing & fun for all!

6 a.m. - 2 p.m.: The Member/Honorary Member & Guest Fishing Contest was held for the right to earn "Bragging Rights to Best Bass Fisherman on Pleasure Lake"!
Thanks to all who helped with this great event and post-contest BBQ.
Proceeds of the $75 two-person team entry fee benefited the annual Kids' Fishing Contest.

1:00 p.m.: The 4th Annual Pleasure Lake Boat Parade.
A great fun lake tradition continued with members showing off their most patriotic boat decorations as we celebrated the 250th Anniversary of our country. We started at Ken Lang's Dock #19 and paraded around the lake. Trophies were awarded for most patriotic, funniest, and most creative!

2026 Happy Hours at the Pavilion
We hope you will join us for the Happy Hours at the Pavilion this year. Our Happy Hours will be held monthly on Saturdays from June through October (Happy Hours are scheduled to be held at the Clubhouse on: June 6th, July 18th, August 8th, August 30th and October 17th from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. --bring along an appetizer to share (as well as your favorite BYOB beverage) and spend time with your Pleasure Lake friends under the FF&BC Pavilion.

The Annual FF&BC's Pleasure Lake Kids Ice Cream Social was held on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 6-8pm at the FF&BC Clubhouse.

Pleasure Lake Golf Scramble Outing
This year's Fallsburg Fishing & Boating Club's Annual Golf Outing will be held on Friday, July 10th.
This great annual event let us to play golf in a stress-free environment ... plenty of fun with friends from Pleasure Lake while enjoying 18 holes of golf at Fallsburg's Lochmor golf course with lunch for those that want to hang out after at the golf course pub.
Players pay the greens fee to the golf course directly - about $50 including cart (unless already a member of the Fallsburg annual golf pass program). Talk to Bill Voegelin for more details. * PLEASE RSVP IN ADVANCE *

We will visit 5+ docks - about one each hour, each for a separate and distinct party theme. The hosts will be providing food and beverages. Over the years some guests have liked to arrive in different costumes to match the themes (costumes are, of course, completely optional but make it lots of fun!)
(Schedule to be announced this Summer) - As a courtesy to our hosts, once the schedule is set, please post in our Facebook group if you WILL be attending so we can prepare effectively. We expect great weather and a very fun day
